BRAGGER

STUDENT COMMENTS:

Hi Wendy!  I just wanted to thank you so much for calling me yesterday and helping me with my assignments.  I hope that when you have an opportunity to review my final postings, you will see that your input was most helpful.  I finished last night and just played with the application learning more and more.  It is funny how something can just click into place once you look at it through fresh eyes.  I feel rejuvenated and can't wait to learn more.
Thanks so much!
Leslie

Wendy:
Thanks again for all your encouragement and feedback, it made this course very enjoyable and I feel like I've learned and been successful with the objectives.  Do you teach any other courses?  :-)

Thanks again,
Amber

Hi, Wendy!

Just a note to say THANK YOU!! Thanks for all of your hard work and for sharing your time, talents, and energy with us. Packaging Graphics has become one of my favorite courses I've studied at AIO.

I'm a firm believer that the instructor is the key element in making the course "happen" for us students--and in my opinion, you did just that! I'm grateful for your support, enthusiasm, professionalism and for ultimately encouraging us to take our work to the next level.

It was a pleasure having you as an instructor! Thanks again! I had so much fun!

Theresa

This is Trina from your previous Packaging Graphics class. I just wanted to send you this form, so you can use my work if you like. Thank you so much for your knowledge and I loved the class!

Best regards,
Trina

Instructor Barr,

I want to thank you for such a wonderful class. I will be completely honest, I had my doubts about package design and this class but you have done an excellent job and I have a new found respect for package design. I had no idea coming into this that there was so much thought and planning that went into packaging design and packaging graphics. Over the past six weeks I have grown quite fond of package design! Thank you! -Jason

Aloha Wendy!

Here is my release form.  Thank you so much for your guidance and instruction during this course.  This has been a very special course and I enjoyed everything.  I actually have considered the packaging industry as a possible field I would like to work in the future.

Mahalo

Sincerely,
Aida

Hello Wendy,

Words cannot express how much your email has helped me get through my 'situation'. I started crying. I take so much pride in my work and it is was nice to know someone appreciates it. I feel like a have been hit by a truck, but I woke up early this morning to get my assignment done. Nothing will take this away from me, Wendy. It means too much. Though I understand that this assignment is late, this is not what is important. All that does matter is that I focus on keeping my head up, do my best, and get assignment three turned in. My plan is to give some feedback on some of my peer's work this morning and have my assignment turned in sometime this afternoon. I realize that I will be continuing revising after I turn this first version in, but I at least want to show you the direction I am headed in regards to logo, illustrations, and layout. Thank you so much once again for everything, Wendy. I hope you are having a wonderful Friday.

Warm Regards,
Jaime

You’re such a great teacher!!!! Loved having you.

Wendy,

So very sorry I am just now replying back to you with this. I consider this an honor and a privilege, thank you so much. I hope my work will be found inspirational. I have enjoyed your class to its fullest and have found more to love in package design. Unfortunately this will be my last class till the New Year, but I am glad it was this one. Once again, thanks much for choosing me.

Respectfully,
Sam

Hi Wendy,

I wish the class wasn't ending so soon, I know there probably so much more to package design than what is consolidated in the 5.5 weeks. I cant thank you enough for sharing your knowledge, I will take much from the class with me.

I thought for sure I had attached the form to a previous email but I will double check to attach. Did you get a chance to check into my point deduction I had previously emailed you about? One more thing, I will be glad to share my template with you, do you have a file type preference? Just let me know okay. Thanks again for everything. I will leave you with a saying I had recently acquired from my son, I catch myself saying this often, I get a chuckle from that when he says it to me when he leaves...Peace, Love, and long hair.
Sam

Hi Wendy,

I just wanted to thank you for your kind words in the grade book. I can't believe I made 100%! :) That's so cool. I really enjoyed this class and I think I will try and find a job in the future that is related to package design, as I really think it is my calling.

Thanks again. Good luck with the next class! :)

Jen

Wendy,
You were a breath of fresh air in this class. As I said, during my last classes, I had surgery and one teacher was so unbending that I came to this class discouraged. You really made the class enjoyable - I have never had a more time consuming or expensive class, but it was worth it. Any advice you can give me regarding packaging and how to get started in that industry would be very much appreciated!

Hi Wendy,

I learned so much in your G333 Packaging Graphics class.  It was quite a bit of work, coupled with my workload at work which exceeded 60 hours per week during this class = lots of blurry-eyed designing for me!

What I learned most from this class is that I really LOVE packaging graphics. I especially loved doing the research at the beginning.  It really helped me form my entire design.  I would like to move in that direction as a designer.  I haven’t seen any postings for those kinds of jobs, how does one make the appropriate connections?  What would I look for?  Any suggestions as to where to start would be greatly appreciated!

Cindy

Thank you for everything...this was an awesome class and I will be sure to complete the survey to give them my feedback. It was tough and challenging which is what we need!

Good luck with your classes & take care. I hope to stay in touch!

Best,
Meg

Thanks so much for everything.  I had never thought about packaging design as an option for me, but you really opened my eyes.  I truly appreciated your help and insight, and will definitely try to stay in touch.
Thanks again,
Katherine

Wendy-

I wanted to take a moment to thank you so much for all of your advice and encouragement throughout these past 5 1/2 weeks.  This has been an exciting journey and I think I have gained a true understanding of some great options for my career in graphic design.  If you have any advice, I would really like to hear from you on how I might get involved in this field.

Thanks again,

-Leslie
